Our Tested Queens
Queens are introduced into production size hives. The queens are then left until we can assess the hatched brood. We then inspect the queen/bees for disease resistance (hygienic behaviour), calmness, temperament, brood laying pattern and honey production. Our tested queens have a higher acceptance rate which means they are less likely to be superseded until later in life.
